Machining of cylinder tube
Cylinder tube is the main component of hydraulic cylinder, single hydraulic pillar for mining, hydraulic support and other products, its processing quality directly affects the life and reliability of the whole product.
Cylinder tube processing quality standard is high, its inner surface roughness standard is Ra0.4 ~ 0.8um, dimensional tolerance is H8, strict requirements on ellipticity and wear resistance.
The cylinder tube is made by cold-drawn seamless pipe get through SRB or honing.
*SRB short of Skived and rolled burnished.
Honing process: Grind the pre-honed tube by oil grinding stone for a long time and many times.
SRB process: Scraping and compacting the pre-SRB tube.
Through SRB machining, a cold working hardened layer is formed on the inner surface of the cylinder tube, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the inner wall of the cylinder, thus improving the wear resistance of the cylinder and avoiding the burn of raw materials caused by grinding.
At the same time, the SRB process can make the residual compressive stress on the surface layer of the product, which can close the micro cracks on the surface and prevent the further development of erosion, improve the corrosion resistance of the inner surface of the cylinder tube. Moreover, it can delay the generation or expansion of fatigue crack, thus improving the fatigue strength of cylinder barrel.
After SRB processing, the inner surface roughness of the cylinder tube is smaller, the ellipticity is smaller, and the fit of the sealing ring is improved.
If only the influence of cylinder is considered, the service life of oil cylinder is increased by 2 ~ 3 times, and the efficiency of boring and rolling is increased by about 3 times compared with grinding process. Rolling process is efficient and can greatly improve the surface quality of cylinder.
After SRB processing, there is no small sharp edge on the surface of the cylinder tube, and the sealing ring or seals will not be damaged by long time motion friction.
